講義内容	This is an activity-based class in Business English. Active participation is required from allstudents. 　The class will provide students with a basic knowldge of international business culture and give students a chance to practice the basic sentence patterns they learn in class. The course will also provide students with the necessary skills to conduct typical business activities such as negotiations, presentations and designing business strategy, etc.
講義計画	The focus of this course will be directed on the four main areas of Business English competency：Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking；with special emphasis on Listening. Each business situation based unit also introduces related vocabulary and gramar structures as part of the lesson. 　Students are strongly advised to bring a dictionary, pencils and paper to class. Speaking activities will consist of pair work and group activities.
評価方法	Student assessment will be based on attendance, daily participation and final exam. Passing grades will be：A, B, or C. Student with more than 4 unexcused absences will be withdrawn from the class.
テキスト	The texts for the class will be Business Venture 1 Textbook and Business Venture 1 Workbook(Roqer Barnard and Jeff Cady, Oxford University Press)
