副題	Writing a Research Paper
講義内容	In this course you will learn how to write a research paper on a serious academic topic. When you write a research paper you must search for information about your topic in books, magazines, newspapers, the internet, and other sources. You then use this information to help you write your paper. The class will stress the "process of writing" −the series of steps that we must go through in order to produce good writing. The class will include activities designed to help you choose, focus on, organize,develop, and research your topic.The class will include a lot of group work and "peer editing," in which students help one another with their writing. All homework, including the final paper, must be typed.

評価方法	The following criteria will be used for deciding grades. −Attendance and punctuality −Class participation −Following directions −Passing assignments in on time −Homework −Final research paper
