講義内容	Globalization has brought about greater human mobility. Together with greater mobility are different problems both in the sending countries and receiving countries. This project research will look in more detail the mechanisms as well as the effects of labor migration.
講義計画	Students will read various migration literatures. Each student or group will report their readings and the class will discuss them. From various migration literatures, students will choose a particular area that will be the basis of his/her final paper. Individually or by groups, students will make and conduct a survey questionnaire.
評価方法	Grades will be based on reports, class participation and projects.
テキスト	Reading materials will be provided during class. 【その他】The classes and presentations will be conducted in Japanese. Many readings, however, will be in English. Students taking this course should, therefore, have good English reading comprehension. Students who are interested in other cultures and in migration problems are welcome. Students must be willing and able to actively participate in the discussions and class projects.
