授業概要 A survey of developments in major world economies, especially Japan.
Different kinds of capitalism will be examined historically, and their relationship to the cultural values of particular countries will be explored a little.
学修目標 The objective is to improve students' understanding of economic thinking in English through exposure to economic language, and by providing the social and historical context for economics.
授業計画 Japan from 1945 to the 1980s.
評価方法 Class participation, homework and final exam.
