講義題目	日本の宗教社会学

講義内容	宗教学の方法論のひとつとして社会学的なアプローチを研究し、特に日本におけるその展開を検討する。宗教社会学の成立および歴史をたどりながら、その方法論と主な理論を紹介し、宗教と社会の接点、宗教の社会的機能、現代社会における宗教の貢献と問題点を検討する。現在の宗教社会学の理論に焦点を与えるが、学生の研究課題にあわせて個別研究を決定する。 As one methodology in the study of religion, this course will explore the sociological approach to religion, focusing especially on the development of the academic field in Japan. Taking first a historical approach, the methodology and main theories of the sociology of religion with be presented, leading into an exploration of the interrelation of religion and society, religionユs function in society, and both the contribution of religion to society as well as religion as a social problem. A special focus will be given to current theory in sociology of religion, with particular themes chosen in accordance with the research topic of the students.
学修目標	１）日本の宗教社会学の代表的な研究について学修する。２）宗教社会学的な問題提起のあり方について学ぶ。３）宗教社会学のテーマについて明らかにする。４）宗教社会学の研究方法を具体的に検討する。５）宗教社会学的な論文の書き方を学修する。

評価方法	講義への積極的参加（10％）、分担箇所の発表（20％）とレポートの提出（70％）によって評価を行う。
