講義題目	「士師記」の読み方をめぐって

授業概要	従来の通時的研究および近年の共時的研究を踏まえながら新しい読み方を提示したGregory T.K .WongのCompositional Strategyof the Book of Judges(2006)の概要に沿って講義と討議を行なう。
学修目標	旧約聖書（特にその中のいわゆる歴史書）の学問的読み方の方法を身につけることを第一の目標とする。そして申命記史書説の意義と有効性を再検討する。
授業計画	学生の旧約聖書学に関する知識と英語の読解力の程度によるので進度の問題があるが、予習、自主研究を前提として以下のような全６章の主要な内容の把握に努める。 I. Setting the Stage: Previous Scholarship and Current Issues II. Through the Lens of Joshua: Links between the Prologue and Epilogue of Judges III. Echoes of the Major Judges: Links between the Epilogue and Central Section of Judges IV. Prologue as Paradigm: Links between the Prologue and Central Section of Judges V. No King in Israel : Understanding the Epilogue’s Refrain VI. Compositional Strategy and Rhetorical Purpose of Judges
評価方法	予習（翻訳を含む）と討議などの授業参加を80% 、期末レポ−トを20%として評価する。
テキスト	『聖書』、年表や該当箇所のプリント。
