講義題目	Historical Themes of African American Culture and the Perceptions of Blacks in Contemporary Japan

授業概要	The course will explore several important themes relevant to the Black experience in the United States and investigate how the image of Black people was portrayed in Japan during the 1980s and 90s.
学修目標	The purpose of the course is to foster cross-cultural understanding by familiarizing students with critical themes related to the African American experience.
