授業概要	This course introduces students to a history of language teaching and language teaching methods.
学修目標	The main aim of this course is to introduce students to a brief history of language teaching methods. Students will learn how organized foreign/secnd language teaching began and how methods have changed up to the present day. Student will also be able to relate how methods relate directly to English language materials used in Japanese schools.

評価方法	The course evaluation will mainly be based upon a report to be written at the end of the course. Your attendance will also be considered for the final grade.
