【授業概要】
本科目の目的は、製造業およびサービス部門における企業経営のオペレーションを包括的かつ体系的に網羅して平易に講義することである。そこでのオペレーションの機能は、単に最終製品の質に影響を与えるばかりでなく、消費者へのサービスや組織の全体的な競争力に重大な影響を与える。
本科目では、オペレーションの戦略的重要性、効率的なオペレーションの基本原理および概念を紹介する。特に、品質保証、生産過程のデザインやサービス・デリバリーの分野でオペレーショナルな意思決定がどのように管理され改善されるかを検証する。特に、取扱うトピックスに依存して製造業やサービス業の具体的なオペレーションを取り挙げて議論する。
【到達目標】
本講義では、製造業ならびにサービス業において業務改善のためのオペレーションズ・マネジメントの基本的な概念と考え方を平易に学生に紹介する。学生に在庫管理、サプライチェーン、収益管理、JIT生産システムの基礎について理解させることを目標とする。従って、学生は、オペレーションズ・マネジメントの戦略的側面、グローバル市場での工場の配置や物流システムの効率的統合について学ぶことになる。
