授業概要 | What the instructor intends to do in this course is to survey US foreign policy issues, principles/doctrines, and practices in historical perspective, making every participant in this class will be able to think more about US "empire" now in an academic fashion. In addition, Japanユs relations with the United States are included in this course. By so doing, students will be given some ideas (1) to understand how the United States has been committing itself to the international community and (2) to easily understand how Japan has been dependent upon the United States, particularly since its defeat in the Asia-Pacific War. |
