副題	Travel and Tourism English
授業概要	This course is aimed at students wishing to enter the world of travel and tourism. This course is topic-based and will equip students for the competitive environment of international tourism through discussion and simulation of situations and issues that students will encounter during their personal and professional lives. This course will cover the following areas: (1) famous spots around the world, and (2) job skills in the tourism industry. Language and skills are introduced through a range of reading and listening tasks from authentic situations. Students will have ample opportunities to practice speaking in class and are expected to speak English at all times.
学修目標	In this course, students will: (1) become familiar with different jobs and sightseeing spots in the world of travel and tourism, and (2) write a cover letter and resume/CV as well as participate in a mock job interview.
授業計画	１．Course Introduction ２〜８．Sightseeing Spots ９〜14．Jobs in Tourism
授業時間外の学習（準備学習など）	Students are expected to review course material in order to pass bimonthly quizzes.
評価方法	Projects 60%, Quizzes 20%, Attendance/Participation 20%.
テキスト	No textbook. Handouts will be provided by the teacher.
