授業概要 修士論文を執筆する上で、先行研究に対して自分の研究を位置づけることは重要なポイントとなる。本講義では、Eric Foner(Ed.).New American Historyを用い、特に移民、人種/エスニシティ、ジェンダーの領域における先行研究を把握するとともに、それを理解するために必要な背景についても学ぶ
学修目標 各自の関心分野における先行研究の状況を把握する
授業計画 初回の授業で、各自担当したい箇所を決め、内容・論点・疑問に関する発表・議論を中心に授業を進めます。
また、受講者の関心に沿って、随時ほかの文献も扱う予定です。
