【副 題】

Developing Fluency in Oral English Conversation, Storytelling, and Presentation

【授業概要】

In groups and mixed pairs, students use English in oral conversations, interviews, storytelling, and presentations that may be supported by artwork. Students also keep reflective journals about their language learning and language identity. For enrichment, students read graded readers and other books from the university library and the classroom library in preparation to give oral reports on “Book Club” days. This extensive reading and other homework extend classroom activities.

The course aims to help students improve their fluency in oral English communication, so that they become more natural speakers and more active listeners¬ in conversation, storytelling, and presentation.

【授業時間外の学習（準備学習等）】

For homework, students finish classroom activities needed to prepare for subsequent classes. This includes finishing drawings and posters and doing extensive reading, all to prepare for future oral activities.
