【授業概要】

The course will involve not only listening, but speaking and participating in pairs and small groups to verify understanding. Authentic material likely to be encountered in real life, and modified material to make understanding easier, will be used. Reality-based situations such as listening to PA announcements, listening to speakers in quiet and noisy environments, watching movies with and w/o subtitles, and listening to podcasts and broadcasts will be frequently used. Instructor-provided CDs can help students improve English listening ability outside of class.
