【授業概要】

英語科の共通英語教材を用い「詩」「物語」「演説」「エッセイ」「手紙」等のジャンルにおける素材を利用して、英語を書く訓練を行う。

Students will write a variety of types of compositions. They will write for fluency and will write for accuracy. Students will do additional practice doing peer reading and will write several drafts of their compositions. The topics of the writing will be the topics of their readings in Reading in English class.

１）Students will continue to write an exchange journal.

２）Students will do additional exercises on the elements of writing.

３）Students will practice the elements of writing.

４）Students will be taken through the writing.

【授業時間外の学習（準備学習等）】

Readingで学修した英語はPresentation, Writing, Discussionの各授業で繰り返し形を変えながら訓練が継続されるので、復習や課題への取り組みを欠 かさず、常に科目間の繋がりを意識した勉学が必要である

【評価方法】

Attendance/Participation (10%), Exchange Journals (15%), Draft 1 (5 x 10%=50%), Draft 2 (5 x 5%=25%)
