Using English to Learn about the Contemporary World

yŽö‹ÆŠT—vz

In each cycle of research and presentation, small groups of students select topics offered by the teacher (or choose their own) and find appropriate readings. Groups analyse their readings, prepare vocabulary lists, and develop discussion questions. This material will then be copied by the teacher and given to the entire class for general discussion.

yŠwC–Ú•Wz

The course encourages students to become independent, autonomous learners by asking them to find information, evaluate it, and present it to others.
