授業概要 The aim of this course is to improve students overall ability to use spoken English for communication. Classes will include a variety of exercises and activities to help students become more proficient and confident speakers of English. Activities will include pair-work, small group discussion, interviews, role-plays and group projects.
学修目標 ●Use conversation strategies to start, maintain and conclude conversations in English
●Talk about daily routines and personal topics
●Identify and use vocabulary for everyday functions
●Understand and explain schedules, dates and times
●Give opinions on general topics or ones related to their major
●Give a 2 minute self-introduction
●Maintain a conversations for at least 3-5 minutes in English on a general topic or one related to their major
●Maintain a 5 minute conversation on a general topic which will be recorded for evaluation purposes
