授業概要 Continuing from Oral B I/II, this course will help students improve their overall ability to use spoken English for communication. Classes will include a variety of exercises and activities to help students become more confident and proficient speakers of English. Activities may include any of the following: pair-work, small group discussion, interviews, role-plays, individual presentations, group projects, and audiotape and video activities.
学修目標 1. Use conversation strategies for sharing opinions, giving advice and agreeing / disagreeing
2. Understand and use colloquial expressions and verbal cues
3. Maintain a conversation in English for at least 5 − 7 minutes, on a general topic or one related to their major
4. Give a 5 − 7 minute presentation on a general topic or one related to their major

授業時間外の学習(準備学習など) Students are expected to prepare for tests, review the topics in the textbook, and transcribe and reflect upon conversation recordings.

その他 Students are expected to attend class regularly. Students who miss 4 classes will receive an F. Students who fail to turn in the final report by the deadline will receive an X. Students are required to bring the textbook to class every week. Students are also expected to check their university email accounts regularly.
