授業概要	The aim of this course is to increase student ability to hold conversations in English. They will be encouraged to give information about themselves and their interests. Students will do a lot of pair work and group work activities as well as presentations which will increase in length as the course continues.
学修目標	● Use Conversation strategies for sharing opinions, giving advice and agreeing/disagreeing ● Understand and use colloquial expressions and verbal clues ● Maintain a conversation for at least 5-7 minutes in English on a general topic or one related to their major ● Give a 5-7 minute presentation on a general topic or one related to their major

授業時間外の学習（準備学習など）	Students are expected to preview and review each unit. Homework will also be assigned each week from either the textbook or students will be given handouts prepared by the teacher.

その他	Attendance: Students are expected to attend class regularly. Students who miss 4 classes will receive an F. Students who fail to turn in the final report by the deadline will receive an X.
