授業概要 The purpose of this class is to develop students, confidence in speaking and listening to English. Activities will include pair work and small group work on a variety of activities and topics, both textbook and non-textbook based. Two English Presentations will be made in the semester. English will be the sole medium of communication for teacher and students.
学修目標 １. To speak more confidently in English with Japanese partners.
２. To practice and become comfortable with basic English communication strategies.
３. To converse fluently on everyday topics appropriate to the students, level.
４. To improve gist and detailed listening skills.
５. To promote their interest in English and English-speaking countries.

授業時間外の学習（準備学習など） Students will be expected to prepare answers to the textbook questions each week, review all new material, and write two short reports in English.
評価方法 Two Written Reports 50%(25% each ; Final Report included)

その他 Students who miss 4 classes or more will receive an F grade(-5% for each absence).
