授業概要 This course will help students to develop their writing ability in English. Classes will include a variety of writing tasks which will include sentence-combining activities, grammar lessons, writing paragraphs, letters and short essays over a range of life issues to help students write clearly and effectively.
学修目標 Use a variety of pre-writing techniques, (lists, mind-maps, etc)
Write both formal and informal letters and emails
Write a unified and developed paragraph (150 words)
Understand basic vocabulary associated with writing
Write basic sentence patterns with coordination, subordination and accuracy
Follow basic typing conventions

授業時間外の学習(準備学習など) Students are expected to complete the assigned textbook activities and in doing so prepare for the following lesson. Students will also write a diary and work on their assignments outside of class.
