授業概要	You will be exposed to a variety of writing tasks, such as letters, timed writings, and short essays. The goals of the class are for you to develop skills in planning, organizing, and developing ideas and expressing yourselves clearly with attention to the audience. You will learn the different stages of the writing process, basic typing conventions, sentence-combining techniques, transitional devices, vocabulary associated with writing, and how to identify key target features from sample papers. You will also develop reflective techniques to improve assessment of your own writing and growth as a writer.
