授業概要 The purpose of this class is to provide students with a variety of listening practice to improve listening proficiency and promote a positive attitude for and competence in English listening. Listening activities will include both conversations in casual settings from textbook CDs and online extra listening materials provided by the publisher and formal news in current topics sites.

授業時間外の学習（準備学習など） Students will be expected to listen to the textbook CD to prepare for, as well as review, each unit. They will also be expected to listen to extra listening materials online, which will include topics from the textbook and
current news topics of the world.
評価方法 Participation: 10%
Review tests: 60% (20x3)　　Final exam: 30%

その他 Attendance: Students are expected to attend class regularly. Students who miss 4 classes will receive an F.
