授業概要 This course will provide students with a variety of listening strategies such as recognizing intonation, rhythm, and stress to improve English listening comprehension. Students will be exposed to listening materials which may include audiotapes or videos of lectures, news items or conversations, songs, movies and plays to promote student interest, and to broaden students, exposure to English. Activities may include listening for gist, note-taking, and dictation.
この授業では、英語のリスニング能力を高めるために、イントネーション、リズム、ストレスを把握するようなリスニング・ストラテジーを学ぶ。講義、ニュース、会話、歌、映画、演劇等のオーディオやビデオを使用し、学生が英語と接触する機会を増やすと同時に、英語に対する興味を促進する。概要を聞き取る練習、ノートテーキング、ディクテーション等のアクティビティが行われる。
