授業概要 The textbook will provide conversations among college students about familiar topics such as playing sports and part-times jobs.  Particular attention will be placed on some important aspects which hinder English learners’ comprehension of listening materials, such as pronunciation, stress, linking and intonation.  Along with the text, a variety of authentic materials will be used in order to increase students’ exposure to English.  They will also encourage to work outside of the classroom to be more independent learners. 
学修目標 Students are expected to be able to identify the main points of a short listening task, to infer the speaker’s intentions, to identify key words and specific information from listening tasks, and to respond to what they have heard.
