授業概要 | The textbook will provide conversations among college students about familiar topics such as playing sports and part-times jobs. Particular attention will be placed on some important aspects which hinder English learners’ comprehension of listening materials, such as pronunciation, stress, linking and intonation. Along with the text, a variety of authentic materials will be used in order to increase students’ exposure to English. They will also encourage to work outside of the classroom to be more independent learners. |
学修目標 | Students are expected to be able to identify the main points of a short listening task, to infer the speaker’s intentions, to identify key words and specific information from listening tasks, and to respond to what they have heard. |
