授業概要 The purpose of this class is to provide students with a variety of listening strategies to improve English listening comprehension. Students will be exposed to listening materials which include audiotapes of lectures, news items and conversations to promote student interest and to broaden students, exposure to English. Activities will include listening for gist, note-taking and dictation.
学修目標 Students will be able to
１. understand short, informal social exchanges
２. complete basic communicative tasks for daily needs
３. pose and answer questions on a variety of personal topics
４. pronounce individual sounds in basic vocabulary words
５. use strategies to learn and to communicate
６. do short dictation of approximately 75 words
