授業概要 | The main aim of this course is to introduce students to a brief history of language teaching methods. Students will learn how organized foreign/second language teaching began and how methods have changed up to the present day. Student will also be able to relate how methods relate directly to English language materials used in Japanese schools. |
学修目標 | The objective of this course is to get students to understand and critically examine methodologies that have changed and shaped the teaching of foreign languages in the past 150 years.
