副題 This is the second semester of the seminar course and considers teaching methodology in foreign language education. In this part of the course the focus will be a consideration of how we should teach in light of history and research into methods.
授業概要
学修目標 The goal of this course is to enable students to understand the how approaches to the teaching of foreign languages have changed in relation to swings in how curriculum designers view the components of teaching; language; learners; the classroom, and the goals of learning. Students should also be able to appreciate how the principles and practice of methodology relate to the topic of the first semester, the theory and practice of curriculum planning

授業時間外の学習(準備学習など) You will be given materials to read before each class. In addition, you may also be given research tasks to do related to the theme of the next class.
評価方法 The grade for the course will be determined by a combination of a written report (75%) and participation in group research and discussion (25%).
