授業概要 | In the Victorian age, industrialization results in major changes to very fabric of British society. Students will study Charles Dickensユ Oliver Twist, which calls attention to the corrupt, dirty and unrestrained capitalism plaguing his society. Apart from arriving at a deeper understanding of Victorian history and culture, studying this novel will help students grapple with some of the serious issues that still afflict the world today. |
