副題 Current Business English
授業概要 This course introduces students to various current business topics in a practical and realistic way.
Students are expected to read articles from newspapers, magazines or the Internet and discuss their readings with each other in class.
Debates and group presentations are an important part of this course. The course will cover such things as:
economic issues
social issues
political issues
cultural issues
It is hoped that by the end of the course, students will have not only improved their English speaking and comprehension ability, but will have also deepened their understanding of international and national current topics.
As this class requires students to discuss various issues in English, a good foundation of Basic English is required. It is recommended that only students with a good understanding of spoken English take this class.
学修目標 To introduce students to a wide range of international and national current topics. Topics will cover various aspects: Business, economical, social and political.
