副題 Business Seminar in English（英語のビジネスセミナー）
授業概要 The seminar will spend most of the time reading portions of the books listed below. Students will also watch movies about business. Each student will write a short report in English on each of the movies. Most of the classroom discussion will be in English.

この授業では主に４冊の教科書を読む。ビジネスに関するビデオを４本使用し、それぞれについて英語でレポートを書いてもらう。クラスでの討論は主に英語で行われる。教科書のうち３冊は日本語に翻訳されている。

Students will also read at least one business book related to their desired career. This book can be in Japanese. Students will have to complete a short report and also make an oral report about this book in the Fall semester.
学修目標 The objective of this seminar is to prepare students for a career in management.
授業計画 This seminar will have three themes: Management, Financial Markets, and the Leisure/Entertainment Industry. In the spring semester, the seminar will mainly read about financial markets. The seminar will finish in the spring semester with readings about the leisure/entertainment industry, especially the Walt Disney Company. General management will be covered at the end of the year.

評価方法 Grades will be based on preparation 10％, participation 30％ and completion of the reports 60％.
