授業概要 本研究科で研究を進めるために必要な科学英語の読解力、作文技術及びプレゼンテーションスキルを学ぶ。科学技術に関する一般雑誌の記事の読解を通じて、科学技術英語の書き方の特徴を正しく理解した上で、履修生自身の研究テーマをベースに小論文の作成及び英語によるプレゼンテーションの基礎を養成する。
学修目標 学修目標は下記の通りである。
１．科学技術英文の読解力及び作成力を高めること。
２．科学技術英語のプレゼンテーションスキルを身につけること。
３．科学技術の和文と英文の違いを理解すること。

授業時間外の学習（準備学習など） ●各授業のpre-reading taskを配布し、次の授業までに読んでおくこと
●自律学習をはかるための科学技術英語の単語及び表現リスト（ジャーナル）を書くこと。
以上、授業外学習を毎週２〜３時間程度必要とする。
評価方法 出席及び授業態度が20％、小レポート（研究テーマについて）及びジャーナル作成が20％、期末レポートが30％、期末プレゼンテーションが30％
テキスト 毎回授業にpre-reading task、ワークシート等を配布する予定
