講義内容 　知識として蓄積された英語の語彙・文法を活性化させ、特にランゲージラボと外国人教員とのコミュニケーション練習を通し、聞く、話す力を伸ばすことを目的とする。

　In order to give the students a good working basis in English, all four skills will be used: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. At the same time, attention will also be given to vocabulary building, correct grammar usage, proficiency in listening, and basic writing techniques and skills.
講義計画 　The aim of this course is to help the students learn how to use general English in practical matters relating to daily life. In order to achieve this, a variety of teaching methods will be used, such as small group discussions, role-playing, and group games. At the beginning of the semester, each teacher will provide a syllabus to make clear which materials will be treated during the course.
評価方法 　Evaluation is based on classroom and LL exercises, attendance, homework assignments, quizzes, and regular examinations.
