授業概要 This course provides students with an opportunity to think about culture and communication in English. Activities in this course include: 1) reading a variety of texts related to culture and communication, 2) summarizing and critically analyzing the texts, 3) discussing ideas with other students, 4) writing short essays, and 5) making presentations.
学修目標 After the completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. deepen their thoughts about culture and communication
2. exchange their thoughts about culture and communication in English
授業計画 Week １: Introduction
Week ２ - Week 13: Presentations, short essays, and discussions
Week 14 - Week 15: Discussions on final papers
授業時間外の学習（準備学習など） Read the assigned texts and prepare for the presentations.
評価方法 Short essays & class discussions 40%; presentations 30%; final paper 30%
