講義題目
開講キャンパス 瀬戸キャンパス（春）、名古屋キャンパス（秋）
授業概要 　通信やコンピュータネットワークに関する諸分野の中から受講生の興味に従ってテーマを選び、関連する先行研究に関して情報を収集し、外国語文献を購読する。これによって、コンピュータネットワークを用いた情報収集能力、外国語文献の読解力を養成する。
We choose a theme from telecommunication and computer networks according to the students' interests, and collect information on previous research related to the theme. Then, we read the selected research materials in foreign languages. Through these studies, the students will develop their ability for information retrieval via computer networks and rapid reading and understanding of research materials written in foreign languages.

２．外国語文献の概要を理解し必要な情報かどうか判断できる
Ability to understand the outline of research materials in foreign languages and to decide if they are necessary or not for the topic.
３．収集した情報を要約し、わかりやすく説明できる
Ability to summarize the collected information and to explain it understandable.
授業計画 第１−２週．調査テーマの候補選定、調査方法の指導
　　　　　　Choosing candidates for reading materials. How to find a paper.
第３−４週．一次調査結果の報告
　　　　　　First report of search results for reading materials.
第５−10週．主な文献の輪読
　　　　　　Reading the selected material
第11−12週．二次調査結果の報告
　　　　　　Second report for summary of the materials and related references.
第13−15週．調査報告書（レポート）作成の指導
　　　　　　How to write a term paper.
第16週．　　定期試験（レポート）
　　　　　　Term paper submission.
授業時間外の学習（準備学習など） 予習は文献調査、講読文献の精読（1.5時間程度）、授業後に1.5時間程度の復習を要する。
Spend 1.5 hour for preparation (paper search and reading), and 1.5 hour for review.
評価方法 授業中の発表（20％）、発表資料（30％）、最終レポート（50％）により評価する。
Evaluated with presentation(20%), presentation materials(30%), and term paper(50%).
テキスト なし。各自が資料を収集する。
None. Each student will search and collect the materials to read.
