Œ¤‹†‰Û‘è | NEETs and Freeters Challenges to HRM in japanF An Examination of the Causes underlying Challenges to Develop Appropriate Training and Education Methods by the Employers | ||||
Œ¤‹†ŽÀÑ‚ÌŠT—v | |||||
In accordance with my research plan, I conducted questionnaire and interview surveys, and wrote the final research report by combining findings from them with the results of a literature survey. The findings show that freeters and part-timers pose severe threat to the traditional HRM of Japan. Especially the study lead us to conclude that people like them in the employment market need a wide range of facilities and supports at the pre-employment, job-search, and post-employment phases. Such supports must come from management, employers, trade unions, business chambers, government organizations, and the civil society. The paper postulates a training and education scheme to promote full-time employment of such part-time workers. It is envisaged that the suggested training and education program, if applied meticulously, will improve their employability and elevate their positions into full-time regular employment. |
