【For CJS Alumni】Call for Videos_CJS 50th Anniversary

We are looking for alumni to share a very brief video message (30 seconds - 1 minute) as we celebrate the CJS 50th anniversary in 2024.

The videos will be shared on the University's website, social media, etc.

Some ideas include:

  • Congratulatory message
  • How CJS has impacted your life and current career
  • Fond memories of the CJS

Please take a moment to review the important tips below for recording a video and how to send your message to us.

Tips for the Best Recording

Screen orientation: Landscape/Horizontal

Camera: You can use your smartphone. Selfies are also acceptable.

Lighting: Have the light source (light/window) shining towards your face, not behind you.

Sound: Record in a quiet space and be conscious of your background. No music in the background. *Please use a microphone if you have one.

Angle of view: Upper Body Shot Reference

Background: Do not let strangers or personal information appear in the camera's field of view.

Language: English or Japanese

Length of the video: 30 seconds to 1 minute

Video Format: mp4 *Please name your video file with your name.

Deadline: February 29, 2024

Note:

  • Be sure to pause for at least 5 seconds before and after your message. This allows the editor to make smooth transitions between videos from multiple videos.
  • At the end of your recording, wait 5-10 seconds before turning your camera off so that the video can fade out naturally.
  • We might not be able to share your video for certain reasons.
  • We might edit your video.

In the email, please include the following information:

  1. Name
  2. Email address    
  3. Address (Country, city)
  4. Occupation (Affiliation: company & title
  5. CJS enrollment period
  6. Home University's name
  7. Nationality (or Country you are from)
