1974年に設立され、日本語教育において世界から高い評価を得てきた南山大学外国人留学生別科は、2024年に50周年を迎えます。

50周年を記念して、広報資料やSNS、ノベルティグッズ等で使用する、ロゴマークを募集します。

応募概要

1) 応募資格： 本学学生、外国人留学生別科（CJS）2024春学期在学生、教職員

2) 応募締切：2024年2月13日（火）日本時間17:00必着

3) 応募作品の提出：南山大学国際センター事務室宛にEメールでご提出ください。

4) 審査方法：寄せられた全ての作品案は、南山大学国際センターの教職員が審査し、50周年関連のイベントやSNS発信などで公式ロゴとして使用される最優秀作品を1点選びます。

5) 結果発表：南山大学Webページ・SNSで最優秀作品および優秀作品を発表します。

6) 賞品：最優秀作品には図書カード 1万円分を贈呈します。

応募方法

ロゴマーク案については、下記の(1)から(6)の要領でそのオリジナルデータを、応募用紙と共にEメールに添付し、メールの件名は「ロゴマーク応募」とし、国際センター事務室（intl-office@nanzan-u.ac.jp ）にご提出ください。郵送では受け付けませんのでご注意ください。

1) ロゴマーク案は電子データで1つのデザイン案が3MB以内、解像度300dpi以上、ファイル形式はJPEGまたはPNGで、印刷した場合、A4に収まるものとします。応募いただいたロゴマーク案のフォーマットの変更をお願いする場合があります。

2) デザインには数字の「50」、と英文字の「CJS」を含めてください。

3) 応募用紙のデザイン説明は200字程度でお願いします。メール本文には記載しないでください。デザインが採用された場合、この説明文は公開されます。

4) 一人で複数作品の応募を可とします。

5) 提出された作品は返却をしません。

6) 応募用紙（Word）※下記リンクよりダウンロードの上、署名した用紙をスキャンしてメールに添付してください。

注意事項

1) 応募作品のロゴマーク案は国内外で未発表であり、著作権や商標権その他の第三者の権利を侵害する恐れがないものとしてください。

2) 次の各項目に該当するものは審査の対象外となります。

　a) 公序良俗に反するもの

　b) 法令に違反するまたは違反する恐れのあるもの

　c) 特定の主義、政治的主張または宗教の普及を目的とするもの

　d) 文化的、社会的配慮に欠けているもの

　e) 営利を目的としたもの

3) 採用されたロゴマーク案については、ロゴマークとして使用するうえで必要な修正、加工を行うことがあります。なお、採用されたロゴマーク案及び応募者が必要な条件を満たせない場合、また、加工、修正等についての同意が得られない場合、決定後であっても採用は無効となります。

4) 採用されたロゴマーク案にかかわる諸権利及び採用されたロゴマーク案の著作権に関するすべての権利は、すべて南山大学に帰属するものとします。応募者は採用されたロゴマーク案に関して、著作者人格権を行使しないものとします。採用されたロゴマーク案の加工については、原則としてサイズや色の調整、日本語や英語への翻訳以外は行わないものとします。

5) 応募用紙の記載に虚偽が判明した場合は、決定後であっても採用を取り消す場合があります。

6) ロゴマークの完成版は、南山大学が認可した対象者に配布され、外国人留学生別科50周年記念事業のほか、大学やCJSの広報活動などのために利用されます。

7) 応募者の個人情報（ただし氏名及び所属を除く）を応募者に許可なく第三者に開示・提示はしません。

8) 受付通知または不採用通知は行いません。また、選考過程のお問い合わせには対応いたしません。

Calling for Design Ideas for a Commemorative Logo

The Nanzan University Center for Japanese Studies was established in 1974 and has won acclaim in the area of Japanese language education around the world. In 2024, it celebrates its 50th anniversary.

To commemorate this anniversary, we are now calling for design ideas for a logo to use in public relations material, social media posts or novelty goods etc.

Outline of the call for designs

1) Criteria for application: must be a regular student of Nanzan University, or a 2024 Spring Semester student or staff member of Nanzan School Corporation.

2) Deadline for application: 5:00pm (JST) on Tuesday, February 13, 2024

3) Where to direct submissions: Please submit your entry by e-mail to the Office of the Center for International Affairs (intl-office@nanzan-u.ac.jp)

4) Method of selection: academic and administrative staff of the Center for International Affairs will consider all of the applications submitted and select one entry as the official logo to be used in events and social media posts related to the CJS's 50th anniversary.

5) Announcement of results: the winning logo and others selected as "excellent" logos will be announced on the Nanzan University website and through social media.

6) Prize: the creator of the winning logo will receive a 10,000 yen book voucher.

How to apply

Please submit your logo entry and the application form by e-mail to the Office of the Center for International Affairs (intl-office@nanzan-u.ac.jp). The e-mail should have "Logo Entry" in the subject bar and your original entry must meet all six of the criteria given below. Please note that entries will not be accepted through the post.

1) Individual logo entries must be in digital form, with each design entry being no larger than 3MB in size, with a resolution of at least 300dpi, and the file type being JPEG or PNG. It should be of a size that fits onto an A4 page when printed off. We may ask you to change the format of the file used for submitting your entry.

2) Please include the number "50" and the letters "CJS" in your design.

3) Please limit the length of the explanation on your application form to the equivalent of around 200 Japanese characters or around 60 words in English. Please do not put your explanation in the text of your e-mail. If your design is selected, your explanation will be made public.

4) An individual may submit more than one entry.

5) Entries submitted will not be returned.

Points to note

1) The logo entries should be works that have not been released previously either in Japan or overseas, and please ensure that there is no risk of the logo violating third party rights such as copyright or trademarks.

2) Entries that fall into any of the following categories will not be considered:

Works that

a. are contrary to public order and morals

b. break the law or may be deemed to risk breaking the law

c. aim to promote a particular principle, political assertion or religion

d. lack cultural or social consideration

e. are designed for commercial purposes

3) The logo entry selected for use may be slightly amended or processed when being used. Furthermore, the application will be deemed invalid, even after having been selected, if it is not possible to make those amendments etc., or if the applicant does not meet the necessary criteria, or if the applicant does not agree to the processing or amendments.

4) The various rights that pertain to the selected logo and all rights pertaining to the copyright of that logo shall belong to Nanzan University. The applicant will not exercise moral rights to the selected logo. With regard to the processing of the selected logo, as a general rule, this will be limited to adjustment of the size or color and translation into either Japanese or English.

5) Even after selection has occurred, use of the entry may be cancelled if false information is discovered in the application.

6) The final version of the logo will be distributed to people approved by Nanzan University and, in addition to matters related to the 50th anniversary of the Nanzan University Center for Japanese Studies, will be used in University or CJS public relation materials.

7) The University will not, release applicants' personal information (other than name and affiliation) to any third parties without permission.

8) Notices of receipt of applications or of unsuccessful entries will not be sent. In addition, responses will not be sent to inquiries received during the selection process.
