NU-COIL Support Team

The NU-COIL Support Team provides the support for students participating in the NU-COIL Program and the teaching staff involved. IT section members other than the list below are also involved.

Support for students

  • Guidance for students studying abroad in the NU4-COIL2 Re-Inventing Japan Project
  • Assistance with procedures applying for NU-COIL and JASSO scholarships offered to inbound students
  • Arrangement of internships within the NU-COIL Program
  • Support regarding the IT tools and LMS (Learning Management Systems) used within the COIL-type courses.
  • Advice regarding the COIL-type course registration.

NU-COIL Scholarships

In order to encourage foreign students to study at Nanzan University, this scholarship subsidizes the accommodation cost for some foreign students participating in the Inter-University Exchange Project NU4-COIL2.

  • Arrangement with the partner universities
  • Support for the startup of COIL-type courses
  • Provision of faculty development and staff development opportunities for COIL-type courses
  • Liaison with corporations, organizations and government bodies
