User Guide Points to note
Points to note regarding Library use
- Please refrain from talking or making phone calls in the area inside the Entrance Gate, as it may disturb other users.
- Smoking and eating/drinking are prohibited inside the Library. (Only water in containers with completely sealed lids is allowed.) Please use the food and drink area in the Entrance Lounge to eat meals.
- Photography is not allowed inside the Library without permission.
- Bringing infants or young children into the Library is not permitted.
- Always carry your user card on you when using the Library. If you forget your card you will not be allowed to enter.
- If you disturb other users or do not follow the Library rules, your access may be suspended, even if your user card is still valid.
- Keep your valuables with you at all times and manage your belongings carefully. The Library is not responsible for any theft or loss.
- Handle Library materials with care to avoid damage or stains. You may be required to pay compensation for such damage or staining occurs.
- When taking Library materials outside, be sure to complete the borrowing procedure and to return them by the due date.
- External users cannot use reading seats from one week before the start of regular examinations until the end of the examination period. Only registration and borrowing/return procedures are available then. Please check the dates of the examination period on the Library’s website.
- There is no parking lot provided for Library users. Please use public transport or the nearby coin-operated parking if you come by car.
During the following periods, external users will only be able to register to use the Library and to carry out borrowing/return procedures. Reading seats will not be available for use.

Q1 23 May 2025 (Fri) to 4 June 2025 (Wed)
Q2 21 July 2025 (Mon) to 31 July 2025 (Thurs)
Q3 5 November 2025 (Wed) to 17 November 2025 (Mon)
Q4 19 January 2026 (Mon) to 30 January 2026 (Fri)
